Thursday, January 7, 2016 - Day 11 of ZTD

Aaron got me a hot roller set for my birthday! I've been wanting one of these for Goal #5.

We also just got a new stand mixer attachment using the gift card to Williams Sonoma that my Dad and mom Shelly got us. It's the ice cream mixer attachment, so I am looking for paleo gelato recipes to try out for the occasional treat!

What I accomplished 1/7/2016

  • 10 sit-ups, 10 (knee) pushups, 10 air squats in my bedroom this morning
  • 1 mile walk around 11AM
  • 1 mile walk around 2:30PM
  • Paid $1k toward my highest interest rate credit card! Only $1667 left. (Goal #6)
  • Ordered extra-virgin organic coconut oil, coconut aminos, liquid aminos and Onnit MCT oil from Amazon (for extra-bullet proof coffee/tea!).
  • Was in bed with lights off by 9:30PM!
  • Got snacks at the store - heirloom carrots, sasumi (sp) tangerines, bell peppers

Food Journal 1/7/2016


Breakfast:
  • Coffee with cream
  • Yogurt
Lunch:
  • Leftover beef yakisoba
  • chocolate truffle x 4
Dinner:
  • Tuna Salad with leftover guacamole from Monday in place of mayo from Meals Made Simple
    • Look at that presentation! That was all Aaron.
    • (I can't get the homemade mayo recipes to work from Meals Made Simple. I don't have enough energy to try that again anytime soon, haha.)

Observations

  • Again, need to focus on going to bed consistently earlier.
  • I am feeling so chipper today! I only did a little exercise this morning, but I think it has pumped me up, endorphin wise!

Fixes

  • Set bedtime, TV off by 9. Do not start new show if it will go past 9.
  • Want to try using the Sleepbot app (which I tested last year for 30 days) instead of a regular alarm as it has motion tracking that gently wakes you as you come out of your sleep cycle.
  • Keep up the exercise, even a little goes a long way!
